JEE Main 2024 admit card for session 1 soon; city intimation slip release date

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 exam city slip and JEE Main 2024 admit card for the session 1 soon. Candidates who have applied for the engineering entrance exam will be able to download the JEE Main 2024 city intimation slip and JEE Main admit card 2024 from the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. JEE Main 2024 session 1 will commence from January 24.

As per the JEE Main 2024 information bulletin, JEE Main 2024 city intimation slip will be issued by the second week of January. The city slip will mention the city in which the candidate’s examination centre will be allotted.

The exam authority had said that it will make efforts to allot the JEE Main 2024 exam city to the candidates in order of their choices. In case, there are a very few number of candidates in a particular region, NTA will merge the exam centres. Applicants were asked to fill in four choices of exam cities while filling the JEE Main 2024 application form.

This year, NTA has added Abu Dhabi to the list of JEE Main 2024 exam cities. Notably, Dubai and Sharjah were already announced as exam cities abroad.

NTA will start issuing the JEE Main 2024 admit card three days before the JEE Main 2024 exam date. The admit card will contain details on the candidate's name, date of birth, exam centre, exam timings, exam date, and more.

Along with the exam city slip and admit card, the exam authority will also release important instructions for candidates. Students will have to login with their credentials such as application number and password to download the city slip and hall ticket and will have to read the instructions carefully. JEE Main admit card will be mandatory for students to carry on the exam day.
