JEE Main 2024 Exam Live: Updates on JEE Mains session 2 answer key, result date at jeemain.nta.ac.in soon

NTA is likely to release the JEE Main April session answer key on April 14, 2024.

The January session of the JEE Main B.Arch exam was of moderate to difficult. The difficulty level of the BArch exam conducted on April 12 will soon be released.

NTA had employed flying squads and surprise checks to deter any cases of malpractice during the JEE main april 12 BArch exam.

NTA will conduct JEE Advanced for the eligible candidates for admission into B.Arch courses in various IITs across the country. The eligibility is that candidates need to clear the cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024.

NTA will declare the JEE Main 2024 session 2 result on April 25, 2024.

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the provisional JEE Mains April session answer key on April 14, 2024.

A total of 55,493 students appeared for the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 exam in session 1. Details about session 2 will be released on NTAin due time.

Various coaching institutes will release the JEE Main 2024 B.Arch/B.Planning exam analysis based on student's reactions and expert opinions. Candidates will be able to check the analysis on this page soon after it is released.

NTA has concluded the JEE Mains paper 2 exam. Candidates who are appearing for both papers 2A and 2B are allotted 3.5 hours and will effectively end their exam at 12:30 pm.

The JEE Mains B.Arch/B.Planning paper will be held for three hours for a maximum of 400 marks. The marking scheme is as follows:

• +4 marks for each correct answer
• -1 for each wrong answer
• Drawing Test: Two questions are evaluated out of 100 marks.

NTA is conducting the JEE Mains paper 2 currently. The exam will conclude at 12 pm. With this, the authorities will conclude the JEE Main 2024 exam on April 12, 2024.

The JEE Main 2024 paper 2 expected cut-off marks are given below.

Students scoring 80 marks in JEE Main 2024 are likely to get JEE Mains percentile between 90.0448455 and 91.79177119 as per the expected JEE Main marks vs percentile. 

A total of 51,570 students appeared for paper 2A (BArch) whereas 24,876 candidates wrote paper 2B (BPlanning) in the last session of JEE Main 2024 conducted in January.

JEE Main session 2 result 2024 is expected by April 25. NTA has not announced any official date for result though. 

JEE Main 2024 session 2 paper 2 for BArch and BPlan courses has commenced at 9 am. 

The punishment for using unfair means JEE Main 2024 exam is:

• Cancellation of candidature
• Debarring candidate from exam for three years
• Criminal action against candidate

Students appearing for JEE Main 2024 session 2 paper 2 today will have to follow these steps to answer multiple-choice questions on their computer screens:

• To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options.
• To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the clear response button.
• To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option.
• To save your answer, click on the 'save and next' button
• To mark the question for review, click on the ‘Mark for Review & Next' button.

• Instruments, geometry or pencil box
• Handbag or purse
• Any paper, stationery, textual material, eatables, and water
• Mobile phones, earphone, microphone, pager, calculator, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder
• Any type of watch including digital watches or any other electronic gadgets
• Any metallic item

• +4 marks for each correct answer
• 0 marks for unattempted/unanswered questions
• -1 marks for each incorrect answer

JEE Main 2024 session 2 paper 2 will be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes. Those who opt for both BArch and BPlan papers will get 210 minutes to write the exam. Paper 2A (BArch) will comprise mathematics section having 30 questions carrying 100 marks, aptitude section having 50 questions carrying 200 marks and drawing section having 2 questions carrying 100 marks.

Paper 2B (BPlanning) will be held for 400 marks as well. The question paper will comprise 30 questions on mathematics carrying 100 marks, 50 questions on aptitude carrying 200 marks and 25 questions on planning carrying 100 marks.
