NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) correction window will be made available today. Candidates who have submitted JEE Main January session application form before the deadline will be able to make changes if required on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The last date to edit the JEE Main registration form 2024 is December 8. Candidates will have to login on the JEE official website using the credentials generated during the application process to make corrections in the form. In a first, the NTA has different login options through Digilocker, Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID), passport number, non-passport number, PAN card, Aadhaar number.

The JEE Main 2024 session 1 is scheduled to be held from January 24 to February 1 at various exam centres across the country and abroad.

Recently, the NTA clarified on the changes allowed in the JEE main 2024 application form. Candidates can check the list of changes permitted during the two day edit period.

Spelling mistake in name, parent’s name.

Educational qualification details

Year of passing, school and mark details

Number of sessions

Can add or remove session 2 during the correction period.

Interchanging of sessions

Candidates will not be allowed to interchange sessions.

Number of paper

Can add more paper - paper 1 or paper 2A or paper 2B - or remove. Extra fee if applicable should be remitted.

Exam centre

Cannot be changed

Category

Will be allowed to change. Those changing from reserved to general will have to pay the extra fees

Documents

Should ensure that the photograph, signature uploaded are in the correct format.
