NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) exam city intimation slip for BTech and BE exams has been issued. Students who have opted for the JEE Mains 2024 session 1 exams will be able to download the pre-admit card from the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the JEE Main paper 1 exams on January 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main exam city slip using their application number and date of birth.
JEE Main paper 1 will be held in two shifts - shift 1 will begin from 9 am and conclude at 12 noon and shift 2 between 3pm to 6pm. The BE, BTech question paper will have two sections for all three subjects. Mathematics, physics and chemistry will have 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each in section A and 10 numerical questions each in section B.
“In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B,” the NTA said.
The JEE Main advance city slip is not the admit card. The exam city intimation slip is issued to let applicants know where their exam centre will be allocated. Candidates will have to mandatorily carry the JEE Main admit card 2024 to the exam centre to be allowed entry.
