The NTA JEE Mains 2024 BTech paper 1 was conducted from 9am to 12 noon. The BE, BTech question paper carried 90 questions - 20 questions each in section A and 10 in section B for mathematics, chemistry, and physics. The exam was held for a total of 300 marks.
The overall difficulty level of JEE Main January 31 shift 1 was moderate to difficult. Chemistry paper was a little tricky but ‘easy’ compared to mathematics. Physics section had more formula-based questions and chemistry was mostly theory-based.
JEE Mains BTech January 31 shift 1 paper was “moderate” compared to last year’s exam. It was ‘moderate to hard’ in difficulty level compared to the January 29 exam and ‘moderate’ in comparison to yesterday’s exam.
