JEE Main 2024: NIT cut-off marks for BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

NEW DELHI: The JEE Main 2024 will be held in two sessions from January 24 to February 1 and April 1 to 15, 2024 for admission into National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and government-funded technology institutes (GFTIs).

There are 31 NITs in the country, of which 11 institutes offer BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. The admission to NITs will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Six rounds of counselling will be conducted by the JoSAA for admission into BTech in Metallurgical and Material Engineering in NITs. ‘
Separate merit lists are released by JoSAA for open, OBC, SC, ST and other categories. The JoSAA will also release a separate list for host state students as half of seats are reserved for students in which the NITs are situated. The remaining seats are open for students of other states (OS).

NIT cut-off 2023 (OS)
NIT Tiruchirappalli had the closing rank (24,678) for BTech in Metallurgical and Material Engineering while NIT Srinagar had the lowest closing rank (58591) for the programme. The closing rank for the NIT Tiruchirappalli was 22850.
