NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) session 2 exam dates again. The JEE Main session 2 will be held from April 4 to April 12. The new JEE Main session 2 exam dates 2024 were announced along with the advance exam intimation slip download link. Candidates who have registered to appear for the JEE Mains April session will be able to download the JEE exam city slip from the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in or jeemainsession2.ntaonline.in. Over 12 lakh students registered for session 1, of which 4,06,920 were female students, 8,24,945 male and 9 transgender.
Earlier, the NTA announced to conduct the exams from April 1 and later postponed the dates to April 4 to 15. As per the latest schedule announced, JEE Main session 2 will be held from April 4 to 12. The JEE Main session 2 paper 1 exams for BE, BTech courses will be held on the first five days and paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning will be held on the last date.
The NTA will administer the JEE Main session 2 exams at different centres located in about 319 cities throughout the country, including 22 cities outside India. Candidates will be able to check the exam city through the advance city slip. However, it is not the admit card.
The testing agency clarified that the JEE Main 2024 city slip is to inform candidates where their exam centre will be located. The JEE Main 2024 admit card will be issued three days before the exam date. Candidates may expect the hall ticket to be issued by April 1.
