Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 tomorrow, April 2. On day 1 of the JEE Mains 2025 session 2, paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be conducted in 284 exam cities across India and 15 cities abroad. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2025 April session exams can download the JEE Main admit card 2025 from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The testing agency has revised JEE Main session 2 exam date 2025 for some aspirants due to clash with Class 12 board exams 2025. Students who made representations can view their new exam dates by logging on the official website. Though the JEE Main session 2 dates also clash with the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Punjab Board Class 12 board exam dates 2025, there is no impact on major subjects.
The NTA JEE Main 2025 session 2 will be conducted from April 2 to 9 for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Centrally-Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) for the academic session 2025-26.
The JEE Main exam duration 2025 will be three hours. As per the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam timings, the entrance test will be organised in two shifts -- shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2: What to keep in mind
Just like JEE Main 2025 session 1 exams, the question papers in session 2 will not have the optional questions in section B. Therefore, it will be mandatory for examinees to attempt all five and there will not be any choices.
It is advised for candidates to check their JEE Main exam centre 2025 mentioned in their JEE Main session 2 admit card 2025 before the exam day and make travel arrangements accordingly.
