NTA conducted the second session of JEE Mains from April 2 to 9. While paper 1 (BE, BTech) was held on April 2, 3, 4, and 8, paper 2A (BArch) and paper 2B (BPlanning) took place on April 9. The JEE Main 2025 April session saw a change in JEE Main exam centre 2025 in West Bengal’s Hooghly and revision in JEE Main session 2 exam date for some aspirants whose board exams 2025 clashed with the entrance exam.
Overall, the JEE Mains 2025 session 2 was moderate in difficulty level. In the April 4 shift 2 exam, candidates found a physics question of the level of JEE Advanced, and some previous year questions. Students also heaved a sigh of relief on JEE Main 2025 session 2 day 1 as it turned out to be easier than the previous session.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections, if any, against the JEE Main answer key 2025 for session 2 by paying the requisite fee within a given time period. The subject experts will examine the challenges and release the final answer key.
The testing agency will use a normalisation method to declare the JEE Main session 2 result 2025 as the exams were held in multiple shifts. NTA has also revised the tie-breaking criteria. Along with the results, the JEE Main cut-off 2025 will be announced.
In the last session, 14 candidates scored 100 percentile to become JEE Main 2025 toppers. The JEE Main 2025 result was declared for 13 lakh aspirants. 12 questions were dropped from the JEE Mains final answer key 2025.
JEE Main is held every year for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and other institutes. Top 2.5 lakh candidates also qualify for JEE Advanced.
