The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 results on February 12 for admission to engineering, architecture and planning programmes. Candidates will be able to download the results through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates who appeared for the computer-based test can challenge the JEE Main 2026 provisional answer key by paying a requisite fee of Rs 200 per objection.

The National Testing Agency has commenced the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 registration process. Those looking forward to appear for the computer-based test can submit the application form by February 25.

The National Testing Agency will close the objection facility for JEE Mains 2026 session 1 today. The exam conducting authority will declare the result for admission to BTech, BArch and BPlanning courses at various colleges across the country on February 12.

The JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exams were conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28 for engineering candidates, whereas the exams for architecture and planning programmes were held on January 29.

2.5 lakh to qualify for JEE Advanced

The college entrance exams took place in two shifts. The forenoon shift was conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift was from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The JEE Mains exam is conducted for admission to engineering, architecture and planning courses at government and private colleges across the country. Moreover, it is also held for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

More than 13 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exams, while only 2.5 lakh students will be able to qualify for JEE Advanced - a gateway for admission to IITs.

After the JEE Main 2026 result declaration, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process for admissions to IITs, National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical colleges.
