The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 online form correction facility from February 27 for registered candidates seeking admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlanning programmes. The testing agency will publish the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 correction window on its official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Mains 2026 session 2 correction window will be open for candidates until February 28. The testing agency will conduct the computer-based college entrance test from April 2 to 9.

The engineering college entrance test will be held in dual shifts. The forenoon shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Over 13.5 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exam. Only 2.5 lakh will qualify the college entrance test for admission to engineering, architecture and planning courses at various government and private institutions.

Those who will qualify the JEE Mains 2026 exams will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced, a gateway for admission to the Institute of Technology (IITs).

JEE Main 2026 Session 2: How to access correction window

Registered candidates can follow the steps given below to access the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 correction window.

  • Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, click on “JEE Mains 2026 session 2 correction link.”
  • A new window will open.
  • Type login details such as application number and password.
  • Complete OTP verification.
  • Make the necessary changes.
  • Select “Correction in application form” option.
  • Pay the correction fee through net banking, debit, credit card, or UPI.
  • Press submit.
  • Download and print the updated confirmation page.

The Session 2 examination will be conducted from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts:

Once candidates submit and freeze their corrected application form, no further changes will be allowed, even if the correction window remains open.

  • Visit the official website: Go to the JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

  • Log in to your account: Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Correction” link and sign in using your application number and password.

  • Complete verification: Read the instructions carefully and verify your identity using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email ID.

  • Edit application details: Select the “Correction in Application Form” option and make the necessary changes in the allowed fields.

  • Pay additional fee, if applicable: If changes such as category update or selecting an additional paper increase the application fee, pay the required amount using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

  • Download confirmation page: Save and print the updated confirmation page for future reference.
