JEE Main Result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2026 session 2 for BE and BTech papers on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA has announced the session 2 scores and ranks of around 11.23 lakh candidates. The NTA has declared the JEE Mains 2026 answer key today, dropping two questions from the Physics section of the April 4 morning shift.
JEE Main Session 2 exam was conducted from April 2 to 8 in two shifts at centres across 304 cities in India and 14 locations abroad. Over 11 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates, based on the combined results of JEE Main Session 1 and Session 2, will be eligible for JEE Advanced for admission to engineering colleges at Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
The NTA withheld the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 results of 54 candidates after detecting their involvement in unfair practices. In Session 2, 57 candidates were also found violating examination rules—such as using forged documents, carrying mobile phones, or possessing written notes—and their scores have not been released. Apart from these cases, the results of 56 candidates remain on hold due to inconsistencies in documents, photographs, biometric records, or other personal details required for verification.
