JEE Main Answer Key 2020: Payment of processing fee till 5:00 pm today

NEW DELHI: Candidates willing to raise objections to the JEE Main answer key 2020 can pay the processing fee of Rs 200 till 5.00 PM today, September 10. However, candidates can challenge JEE Main 2020 answer key till 10.00 AM today. Challenges to JEE Main answer key 2020 can be raised through the official JEE Main 2020 website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

How to challenge JEE Main answer key 2020?

Candidates can challenge JEE Main answer key September 2020 using the following steps-

Step-1: Login to the NTA website-

• Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.

• Click on the ‘Challenge(s) regarding JEE Main Answer Key’ link.

• Enter application number and password/date of birth.

Step-2: Choosing the options-

• The Question id and respective correct option id will appear on the screen for JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 & 2.

• For challenging any question, candidates can select any one or more than one of the Option ID(s) by clicking the checkbox.

• Click on the ‘Save your Claim Finally’ button and move to the next step after clicking your desired option ID(s).

• The option ID(s) which was challenged by them will appear on the display.

Step-3: Uploading required supporting documents-

Candidates also have to upload documents supporting their JEE Main 2020 answer key challenge in the form of PDF by clicking on the ‘Choose File’ button on the screen.

Step-4: Payment of processing fee-

In the last step, a processing fee of Rs. 200 to be paid by the candidates for each JEE Main question challenged through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.

The processing fee for JEE Main September 2020 has been reduced to Rs 200 from Rs 1000 in the January session. The processing fee will be refunded to the candidate’s account if the challenge is accepted by NTA. Also, No challenge to JEE Main answer key 2020 will be accepted without receipt of the processing fee.
