JEE Main April 2019: Application window for April attempt to open soon

New Delhi, February 8: National Testing Agency will release the application form for JEE Main 2019 April attempt anytime soon. As per the notification issued by NTA, the application form will be available in online mode from February 8 to March 7. The JEE Main 2019 April exam will be conducted during April 6 to 20 across various test centres in India and abroad. The result for April attempt will be declared by April 30. NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2019 exam twice from this academic year to facilitate students with more chances of getting admissions. Students also have the option of appearing in any one or both of the January and April attempt. The score of best among the two attempts will be calculated for assigning the rank and preparation or merit list.
NTA has earlier successfully conducted the January attempt of JEE Main 2019 exam across 467 test centres. A total of 8,74,469 students appeared in Paper 1 while for Paper 2 some 1,45,386 students have appeared in the exam. The result of Paper 1 was declared on January 19 in record time while the result for Paper 2 was declared on January 31. NTA is conducting the exam in fully online CBT mode from this year onwards except for the drawing part of Paper 2 which is appeared in paper and pencil based test.
