Try NowNEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) which started on Thursday, April 6 wil conduct the day-2 exam tomorrow, April 8. 9.4 lakh candidates are appearing for admission to BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning admissions at around 330 test centres across the country and 15 cities outside. The three-page JEE Main 2023 hall ticket also contains instructions for candidates and a self-declaration form.

The overall difficulty level of JEE Main day-1 exam today, as per most students was balanced. “In terms of order of difficulty – mathematics was moderate, chemistry was easy to moderate, while physics was easy,” Ramesh Batlish Head, FIITJEE Noida said analysing the morning session exam.
While the shift 2 paper was analysed as moderate by Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director, Engineering, Aakash BYJU’S. Chemistry was the easiest of the lot, mathematics because of lengthy calculations were considered to be moderate by many students, he added.

The JEE reporting time is one hour 30 minutes before the start of the exam. The JEE Main 2023 exam will be held in two shifts. The JEE Main start time is 9 am and 3 pm

Candidates will be required to take the JEE Main admit card and must carry any one of the original and valid photo identification proof issued by the government -- PAN card or driving license or voter id or passport or aadhaar card with photograph) or e-aadhaar or ration card or identification affidavit.

There is no strict JEE Main dress code. However, candidates should avoid wearing any piece of jewellery, watch, or any other gadgets and ornaments.

Candidates must not forget to hand over the JEE Main admit card and the rough pages to the invigilator after the end of the exam.
