NEW DELHI - The National Testing Agency (NTA) is now conducting the JEE Main 2020 exam for B.Tech/B.E. in the second shift across more than 600 test centres. NTA has ensured that as the students arrive for the JEE Main exam, all of the COVID 19 guidelines are followed by them so that their safety could be ensured. At the test centre candidates had to strictly maintain social distancing and had to properly sanitise themselves.

JEE Main Exam 2020 - Things carried to test centre

For the JEE Main Paper 1, candidates had to carry with the admit card along with valid identity proof such as:

  • PAN card

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Passport

  • Permanent driving License

  • Class 12th admit Card or Registration card

Along with the identity proof, the self declaration form of JEE Main, 50ml sanitizer, transparent water bottle and ball point pen also had to be taken.

What is provided at the JEE Main 2020 exam centre ?

Candidates who are writing the JEE Main 2020 exam for B.Tech have been provided five rough sheets which are already kept on their desk. On top of the sheet, candidates will have to write their name, roll number and after the JEE main exam, they will have to drop their sheet in the box that has been placed at the test centre.

Drop the JEE main admit card in the box

Candidates will have to drop the admit card of JEE Main after duly signing it in front of the invigilator. If the candidate does not drop the JEE main admit card , then in such a case, the response sheet of the candidate will not be evaluated.

Hands Sanitized at the JEE Main 2020 test centre

According to the Government of India, gap between the two seats is maintained and the seating area was thoroughly sanitised after the completion of the first shift of JEE Main 2020. All the door handles, keyboard, webcam chairs and desks, everything has been sanitized.
