NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 4 : National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing JEE Main 2019 admit card on December 17 for January session in online mode. JEE Main 2019 first attempt is scheduled to be conducted from January 8 to 12, 2019. The candidates might be curious to know how to download the admit card, what all details will be furnished on it, do they need to carry any other document along with it and so on. Read the following key points about JEE Main admit card to be kept in mind:
1. No access of admit card in offline mode:
The authorities will release the admit card only in online mode. Candidates will have to visit the official website to login and download it. No candidate will receive the admit card offline.
2. What all will be mentioned on the admit card?
The admit card is a document which has all the important exam related information mentioned on it. Details like candidate’s name, roll number, parents’ details, photograph, exam date and time, the address of the exam centre, signature, etc will be present on the admit card.
3. Mandatory document to appear for the exam:
Candidates appearing for the national level entrance examination must keep in mind that it is the mandatory document to appear for the exam. They need to carry the print out of the admit card along with them. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the JEE Main admit card.
4. Don’t forget to read the exam day guidelines:
Candidates are advised to read the exam day guidelines mentioned on the admit card carefully. It is mandatory to follow these guidelines while appearing for the exam. Having a prior idea about the location of the exam centre as mentioned on the admit card will save the last minute hustle and stress.
5. What or what not to carry along with the admit card?
- Along with the admit card, candidates must not forget to carry a passport size photograph identical to the one uploaded while filling up the application form.
- Candidates belonging to PwD category will have to carry a copy of the PwD certificate in the prescribed format.
- Candidates must also carry a valid ID proof - PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card
- However, candidates must not carry any restricted items along with them like Cellular phone, Mobile, Pager, Calculator, Log Tables, copying materials, books, notebooks, bits of paper, watch, etc.
