Students should know that no separate cutoffs are released for the four sessions of JEE Main 2021 exam. As the JEE Main 2021 is being conducted in four sessions, the cutoff will be determined only after the conclusion of the May session.
Students obtaining scores equal to or above the cutoff score will be announced qualified and will become eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2021 exam for getting admission in IITs. JEE Main 2021 cutoffs will vary based on the candidate’s category.
The JEE Main 2021 cutoff is decided by considering several factors The factors considered to prepare JEE Main cutoff 2021 include the difficulty level of JEE Main exam, the total number of candidates who appeared on the exam, the total number of seats available, and the previous year’s cutoff trends.
The cutoffs of JEE Main 201 will be determined in the form of candidates’ normalized percentile scores to exclude any possible difference as the difficulty level varies for different shifts and sessions.
In 2020, JEE Main 2021 cutoff for the open category was 90.3765335 percentile. For the reserved category, it was between 0.0618524 to 72.8887969 percentile. In 2019, the cut-off for the general category candidates was 89.7548849 percentile score. For the reserved category, the cutoff was between 0.11371730 to 74.3166557 percentile.
JEE Main answer key 2021 for the March session has been released on March 20. Candidates can check the preliminary answer key, response sheets, and question papers available on the official web portal. The challenge of JEE Main 2021 answer key is available till March 22 .
