NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is soon going to declare JEE Main March 2021 result at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The NTA JEE Main 2021 normalization process is followed by the authorities for calculating scores.

NTA JEE Main 2021 is conducted in multiple shifts as well as sessions. Thus, the difficulty level of JEE Main 2021 paper also varies. Thus to evade any inequality, NTA follows the normalization rule to bring equilibrium to JEE Main score while preparing the final JEE Main March 2021 result.

JEE Main March 2021 result- Normalization Process

  • JEE Main result 2021 (Session wise) - The authorities calculate the raw scores of candidates obtained in each session. Also, the candidates are awarded JEE main percentile for each session keeping regard with the difficulty in each shift.

  • Multiple Percentile - As the JEE Mains 2021 is being conducted in four sessions this year, candidates have the choice to appear in any or all four sessions. They will get the JEE Main percentile score for each attempt.

  • Best score - Candidates who appear for the single JEE mains 2021 attempt will be counted with the percentile. But those appearing in two or more sessions will have their best NTA JEE percentile counted for ranking.

  • JEE Main Rank List - The authorities shall release JEE Main 2021 ranks at the time of JEE Main result declaration for May attempt.


The authorities conducted JEE Main March 2021 exams from March 16 to 18 for paper 1. The provisional JEE Main March 2021 answer key was released on March 20 and objections were allowed till March 22 (up to 1 pm). Thus, the authorities are expected to declare JEE Main March 2021 result soon, tentatively by March 27. However, NTA has not declared any JEE Main March 2021 result date.
