The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the JEE Main session 2 result 2026 by tomorrow, April 20, 2026. Aspirants can check the scores on the official websites of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in, nta.ac.in and examinationservices.nic.in. This year, over 11 lakh candidates appeared for the computer-based JEE Main 2026 exam, nearly 2.5 lakh will be shortlisted to take JEE Advanced for admission to BTech programmes at the IITs.
According to the NTA’s marking scheme for JEE Main 2026, candidates are awarded 4 marks for each correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response.
To download the result, candidates need to follow the steps given below:
Go to the official website of the National Testing Agency at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Click on the link for “JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026”.
Enter your application number along with your password or date of birth.
Submit the details to proceed.
Your scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
Download it and keep a printout for future reference.

The April session of JEE Main 2026 was conducted from April 2 to April 8. The provisional answer key and response sheets were released on April 11, 2026, and the objection window remained open until April 13, 2026.

Candidates can estimate their JEE Main 2026 score using a simple formula based on the marking scheme. For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded, while 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response. The total score is calculated by multiplying the number of correct answers by 4 and then subtracting the marks lost due to wrong answers.
