JEE Main, NEET UG 2022: NTA uploads free lectures by IIT professionals, subject experts

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has uploaded free lectures by the Indian Institute of Technology professionals and subject experts for the two largest entrance examinations for engineering and medicine. The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Mains 2022 exam date was announced by the NTA on March 1. JEE Main 2022 will be held in April and May.

Meanwhile, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) exam date is also expected to be announced soon on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Over 15 lakh aspirants who aspire to become doctors appear for NEET, every year. As per the reports, NEET-UG 2022 is expected to be conducted on any Sunday between the last week of June and the first week of July.

Last year, of the 10,48,012 students who registered for the JEE Mains, a total of 9,39,008 candidates have appeared for the exam in all four sessions. Of them, 44 candidates obtained NTA scores in the 100 percentile and as many as 18 students shared the top all-India rank, AIR 1.

NEET UG 2022 syllabus comprises 95 chapters and over 14,000 concepts. Students will also have to prepare well for JEE Mains 2022 as this year the NTA has announced to hold exams in only two phases instead of four.

To help engineering, medical aspirants crack JEE Mains 2022, NEET UG 2022, the NTA has uploaded free lectures by IIT professionals and subject experts. This year, the NTA has introduced changes in the JEE Mains 2022. NEET UG 2022 exam pattern, eligibility criteria, information brochure will be soon released on the official website. Here’s how to view the free lectures uploaded by the NTA.

• Visit NTA’s official website, nta.ac.in
• Click on the tab that says, “Content Based Lectures - For JEE Main and NEET UG 2022 by IIT professors/ subject experts”
• The new page will display subjects such as - physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics.
• Students can click on the subject they want to prepare.
• A new page will display chapter-wise and subject-wise lectures by the experts
• Candidates have to click the YouTube Link to listen to the lectures.

JEE Mains 2022: Exam pattern

As per the JEE Mains 2022 exam pattern, Section A will be of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. “For each question in Section B, enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest Integer,” the NTA said.
