JEECUP result 2024 soon at jeecup.nic.in; know how scores are normalised

NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) will declare the JEECUP result 2024 soon. Candidates who appeared for the UPJEE exam will be able to check their UP Polytechnic results 2024 on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

JEECUP answer key 2024 was issued on June 21 and students were given the opportunity to raise objections against the provisional key by June 23. The subject experts will examine the challenges made by the candidates and release the JEECUP 2024 final answer key with revisions, if any. JEECUP results 2024 will be declared on the basis of the final key only.

Along with the results, the exam council will also release a merit list. Students who score the minimum qualifying marks will be included in the UPJEE 2024 merit list. Candidates who obtain ranks in the exam will be eligible for UPJEE counselling 2024.

UPJEE 2024 was conducted from June 13 to June 20 for admission to polytechnic programmes and lateral-entry admissions to engineering programmes offered at participating institutes. As per the marking scheme, students will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect responses.

JEECUP Result 2024: Normalization method

Due to a large number of registered candidates, the exam was conducted in multiple sessions. Thus, a separate question paper was prepared for each shift. Though the exam authorities make efforts to keep the level of questions in all question papers the same, there may still be a difference in the difficulty level. So, a normalization method is used in the exam wherein the raw scores obtained by the candidates are converted into normalized scores.
