NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 30 : Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, the body which will conduct the Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2019 has released the application form. The last date for registering for JET 2019 is January 31. The entrance exam for the first stage of selection to FTII and Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata will be conducted in offline mode on February 24, 2019.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD category will have to pay registration fee of Rs 1250 while those belonging to general and any other category will have to pay Rs 4,000 through online mode, debit card or credit card.
Minor Change in JET Exam Pattern 2019
There has been a slight change in the exam pattern of JET 2019 as compared to last year. Section A comprising General Aptitude Test (MCQ) for Film Wing Courses till last year was of 50 marks. However, for 2019, it will be of 30 marks. In section B, candidates previously had to answer five out of eight questions. This year in JET 2019, candidates will have to answer five questions in all and in descriptive questions, candidates can answer any three out of the five questions.
Meanwhile, the question paper for Television (FTII) / Electronic and Digital Media (SRFTI) Courses has also witnessed some change. In section B, candidates will have to answer one question of 20 marks while in 2018, students had to answer 5 questions of 10 marks. In section C, candidates will have to answer five questions of 10 marks each
