NEW DELHI : Jharkhand Academic Council has declared the class 9 result 2020 online on June 2 at 1.55 pm on the official website- jacresults.com as well as jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The Class 9 board exams were conducted on January 21 & 22, 2020. Students who appeared in the board exams can now check their JAC 9th result by entering the their roll number and code. This year, around 4.17 lakh students appeared in the Jharkhand Class 9 board exams out of which 4.06 lakh students qualified. The overall pass percentage is 97.42 percentage. While students can check their JAC class 9 result online, they can collect their marksheet from their schools at a later date. Know the steps to check the result online.

How to check JAC 9th result 2020?
Step 1- Go to the official website- jacresults.com
Step 2- Click on the “JAC Class 9 Exam 2020 Results”
Step 3- Enter the Roll Code & Roll Number
Step 4- Re-check the details before clicking on “Submit”
Step 5- JAC 9th Result 2020 will appear on the screen. Download the same and keep it for future use.

Some Highlights of JAC class 9th result:
- Male students have performed slightly better that female candidates. While 97.59 per cent males has qualified, 97.27 females have qualified in comparison. The overall pass percentage is 97.42.
- Pakur has been the best performing district with the overall pass percentage of students being is 99.315 per cent followed by Kodarma which comes as the second best with 99.234 percent. Singhbhum, remains the worst performing district with a pass percentage of 93.8 per cent preceded by Jamtara at 95.3 percent.
Last year, the result was released on April 12. But this year, the result was delayed on account of the lockdown enforced in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 4,00,876 students had appeared for the exams in 2019 out of which, 3,58,442 students had passed the exams successfully.
The results of JAC class 8 are expected sometime this week. However, the board officials may release the JAC class 10 and 12 results in the first week of July, 2020. The evaluation process for the Jharkhand Admission Council class 10 and class 12 answer sheets has already started and is being conducted at 67 centres in the district headquarters across the state.
