Jharkhand NEET UG counselling 2023 registration for MBBS, BDS, BHMS admission begins

NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has opened the registration window for the NEET UG counselling process for the MBBS, BDS and BHMS seats in the medical, dental and ayurvedic colleges of the state. Interested candidates will have to apply at the official website – jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

The Jharkhand NEET UG counselling process 2023 will be held on the basis of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) score 2023. The online application process will start on July 25 and end on July 29.

The candidates will be able to edit their application till 3 PM on July 30 and the merit list will be published on July 31, as per the schedule. The details regarding the round 1 counselling schedule will be announced shortly on the official website.

Candidates belonging to general, economically weaker sections (EWS) and OBCs will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Whereas candidates belonging to SC, ST and female candidates of all categories will have to pay Rs 250 application fee. No application fee will be taken from ‘divyang’ candidates.

The candidates will also have to upload NEET (UG) 2023 score card along with other required documents on the official website – jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

The candidates should be a local resident of Jharkhand and he will have to submit the ‘local resident certificate’ issued by a competent authority at the allotted institute during the counselling process.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates belonging to the general category should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology or biotechnology in the qualifying examination mentioned in the regulation of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India. The candidates belonging from SC, ST and OBC should have secured at least 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
