Predict NowNEW DELHI; May 23: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has been released the result for postgraduate entrance exam on May 23, 2019. Candidates can check the result on the official website of JIPMER, jipmer.edu.in. The result has been released in the form of nine merit list which contains the names of candidates, roll number, name of the candidate, date of birth, number of correct and incorrect responses, total marks, percentile, category-wise rank and eligibility. Along with the result, the authority has also announced the date of counselling which is scheduled to be conducted on June 12, 2019. As many as 4673 candidates have qualified the examination.

JIPMER PG 2019, was conducted on May 18, in 10 cities across India. With the release of the merit list, the cutoff for the examination has also been revealed. The authority will conduct the counselling for 100 seats offered in various MD/MS courses offered in JIPMER.

JIPMER PG cutoff
Each candidate in order to qualify the entrance exam must secure the minimum qualifying percentile. The exam conducting authority has released nine category-wise merit list which also reveals the cut off for all the categories. The cutoff rank for the unreserved candidates is 4227 with a score of 136.
Cutoff rank for the SC category is 5104, for ST it is 5102 and for OBC category candidates the cutoff is 5106. The score for the SC, ST and OBC candidates is 119. Candidates can check the cutoff percentile and corresponding scores in the table below.

What after JIPMER PG result?
The authority has released a list of category-wise shortlisted candidates who have been invited to participate in the first round of counselling. All such candidates will have to be physically present to participate in counselling sessions within the stipulated time period. The authority has directed the candidates to report at 8:00 AM in the mini-auditorium at JIPMER academic centre, JIPMER, Puducherry, 606006.
After the declaration of JIPMER PG result, the authority will also release the rank letter for the individual candidates. The rank letter will contain the percentile secured by aspirants which must be downloaded using respective login credentials. Since the rank letter has to be produced at the time of offline counselling process, it is essential to download and retain the rank letter.
