Predict NowNEW DELHI: The regulatory body, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has released the schedule for JIPMER MD/MS counselling, which will begin from July 22, 2020. Making changes in the PG medical counselling, JIPMER, Puducherry will conduct the admission process in online mode including registration, choice filling and mock allotment.

The mock round will be held to give an idea of how allotment will be done on the basis of choices filled. While, for the first round of allotment, registered aspirants can re-edit/modify/delete their filled in preferences of specialties. JIPMER PG counseling round one
As per the seat matrix released, first round of MD/MS counselling will be held for admission to 145 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Masters of Surgery (MS) courses offered in Puducherry campus. During the counselling process, eligible and registered candidates need to enter their preferences of specialties in which they wish to get admission into. Based on their choices filled, JIPMER PG rank secured, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors, the admission will be granted.
Candidates who will be allotted a seat need to download the confirm the acceptance of seat and download the allotment letter. They must report at the Puducherry campus for with relevant documents for completion of admission process.
