NEW DELHI, April 29: JIPMER, Puducherry has issued the admit card of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research for postgraduate (JIPMER PG) on April 29, 2019. The hall tickets can be downloaded only by the registered aspirants till the exam date, which is May 18, 2019. The hall ticket and a valid passport size photograph should be carried for the computer-based test. No candidate will be allowed to take the MD/MS entrance exam without the admit card.


JIPMER PG July session exam to be held in 11 major cities of India, will contain 250 multiple choice questions from Basic Clinical and Clinical sciences subjects. The questions to be asked in the exam will be in English medium only.

  • In the candidate login, enter the user ID and password

  • The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen

  • Verify and check the essential details on the admit card

  • Download and print the admit card for the entrance examination


Before downloading the admit card, it is mandatory for aspirants to verify the details printed on it like name, date of exam, time of reporting, name, and address of exam center allotted among others. In case of any discrepancy in the JIPMER PG admit card 2019, aspirants must immediately contact the JIPMER admission office.


Since the admit cards will be used at various admission process, the applicants are advised to download and take three to four printouts of it. For the smooth conduction of MD/MS entrance exam, it is necessary to follow the instructions mentioned in the JIPMER PG admit card.


JIPMER PG exam is conducted twice a year in January and July session for admission to around 90 Masters of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses offered by JIPMER Puducherry campus.
