JK NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Round 1 merit list revised; choice filling starts for 1,328 candidates

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) will open the choice filling facility for J-K NEET PG counselling 2025 today at 2 pm. A total of 1,328 candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2025 have been awarded a UT rank to participate in J-K PG medical admission process.

The JKBOPEE will commence the J-K NEET PG round 1 choice filling from November 20 at 2 pm to November 23. Candidates will have to fill their choice of courses and colleges in the order of preference on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.

Applicants should pay a counselling fee of Rs 2,000 to complete the registration and be considered for the seat allotment. The seat matrix for Jammu and Kashmir NEET PG counselling will also be updated before the choice filling process, the board clarified.

As per the revised merit list, the NEET PG cut-off marks for Jammu and Kashmir range between 695.50 and 236.

Objections against the provisional merit list were invited till October 31. During this report, two candidates requested for the inclusion of their Difficult Area marks.

“The cases were examined thoroughly, and after due consideration, the Board decided to consider the candidature of these two representatives under the difficult area beneficiaries,” the board said.

Subsequently, the board has revised the provisional merit list of all candidates registered for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma courses and revised the difficult area list. A total of 29 candidates have been awarded incentive marks.

JK NEET PG 2025: Document verification

Applicants were also allowed to rectify deficiencies, such as date of birth, and NEET PG score card up to October 31.

Those who have not rectified the errors and uploaded invalid documents, such as domicile, state registration, or Medical Council of India (MCI) registration, will not be eligible to participate in the online choice filling.

However, such candidates who submit valid documents in person or through an authorised guardian at the JKBOPEE office at Jammu or Srinagar on or before November 23 will be able to fill choices for round 1.

Reserved category candidates who failed to submit documents before the deadline will be treated as open merit. “The candidature of a few candidates who have been found ineligible in their respective categories has been rejected,” it said.
