JKCET 2026: Tie-breaking rule
If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the JKCET 2026 entrance examination, the inter-se merit will be decided based on specific criteria. Preference will first be given to the candidate who has scored higher marks in the Mathematics section. If the Mathematics scores are also equal, the marks obtained in the Physics section will be considered.
In case the tie still remains, the Chemistry scores will be taken into account. If candidates have identical marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, the older candidate in terms of age will be placed higher in the JKCET 2026 merit list.
