JKBOSE new exam dates out for Class 12 physical education subject

NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the new exam dates for the Class 12 Physical Education subject. The exam for Physical Education subject will now be held on March 30. The official further confirmed that the time and venue of the examination will remain unchanged.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled for March 20, but on the day of the exam, students across the Union Territory (UT) were mistakenly given physical education subject question papers of Class 11 . Following the incident, the examination board decided to postpone the Class 12 exam of physical education subject across the Union Territory.

In response to this incident, a three-member committee has been formed to investigate the erroneous distribution of question papers to Class 12 students. The committee has been assigned the responsibility of producing a detailed report within three days, to identify any lapses in supervision or administration.

“It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that the examination of Physical Education subjects of higher secondary examination part-2 (Class 12), session annual (Regular) 2024 for the soft zone areas of UT of Jammu and Kashmir that was cancelled earlier vide notification No: F(Acad-c)/PP/PEDIAR/ Exam/2024 dated March 20, 2024 shall now be held on March 30, 2024,” reads the official notice.

The JKBOSE commence the Class 12 board exams for the soft zone on March 6, 2024. As per the JK Board official schedule, the Class 12 annual theory exam will conclude on March 28. Students can download the admit card and check the official exam notification through the official website at jkbose.nic.in.
