Tamil Nadu SSLC 2024 begins today; guidelines, timetable, passing marks

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Government Examinations will commence the Tamil Nadu Class 10 or SSLC exams 2024 from today, March 26. The TN SSLC 2024 exams are scheduled from March 26 to April 8. The TN Class 10 practical exams 2024 were held from February 23 to 29.

The TN Class 10 public exam 2024 will be held for a duration of 3 hours from 10 am to 1:15 am. Students will get time from 10 am to 10:00 am to read the question paper. Students appearing for the board exam can check the Tamil Nadu 10th timetable 2024 below.

Tamil Nadu SSLC 2024: Passing marks

Students are required to score a minimum of 35 percent marks in aggregate to clear the TN 10th board exams 2024. Students need to score 35 marks out of 100 in every subject to pass the TN SSLC exam 2024. For subjects involving practicals, students must obtain 20 marks out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in the practical assessment.

Tamil Nadu SSLC 2024: Result

The Tamil Nadu DGE is set to announce the TN Board Class 10 result on May 10, 2024. The TN 10th result 2024 link will be available on the official website- tnresults.nic.in. Students will need to input their registration number and date of birth to view their TN SSLC result 2024. Last year the pass percentage was recorded at 91.39%. The TN Class 10 compartment exams 2024 are likely to be held in June, with results expected in July.

Below are the guidelines for the Karnataka SSLC 2024 exam day

• Arrive at the examination center well in advance of the reporting time.
• Prior to commencing with answering the questions, carefully read through the entire question paper, taking note of instructions, marking schemes, and any specific guidelines provided.
• Students must carry TN SSLC admit card 2024 and necessary stationery items.
• Comply with the instructions given by the invigilator or exam supervisor.
• Items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, iPads, calculators, Bluetooth devices, or headphones are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
• Students are strictly prohibited from bringing any notes, textbooks, or reference materials.
• Do not cheat or interact with other students during the exam.
