NEW DELHI: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination has released application form of Common Entrance Examination 2020 for admission in UG engineering course in union territory of J&K and Ladakh . The application form is available in online mode only on the official website jkbopee.gov.in form March 12 to 31. Candidates desirous of admission in B.Tech course can fill the online application form within the specified dates.
Online application form can be filled from the common Service Centres setup by J&K and Ladakh government or from any place having internet access. Students filling the online application form have to upload the following documents

Valid residence proof of J&K or Ladakh

Class 12 marksheet (if candidate has already passed)
-
Date of birth certificate (class 10 certificate)
-
Reserved category certificate (if applicable)
-
scanned image of photograph and signature
Students will also be required to pay the application fees of Rs.1200 in online mode through credit/debit card or net banking. Students who will fill the application form up to the last date have to check their application status on April 1. Candidates whose application will require any modification should contact BOPEE office in Srinagar or Jammu for making the necessary corrections.
Admission in the course is based on a common entrance examination commonly known as JKCET. The examination will be conducted on April 26 in offline mode (OMR Based Exam) across various test centres in the state. Students applying for JKCET must be a resident of J&K or Ladakh, must have attained a minimum age of 17 years.
