JKCET 2025 exam on April 12; eligibility criteria, paper pattern

NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2025 exam date. The JKCET 2025 exam will be conducted on April 12. The JKCET 2025 registration dates are yet to be announced.
The JKCET 2025 registration form expected to be out in February-March JKCET 2025 application fee is Rs 1,200. Candidates will be able to pay the JKCET 2025 registration fee through credit, debit card, net banking or UPI facility.
The JKCET 2025 result date is not yet announced. Last year, JKCET result will be declared on June 25. After JKCET 2025 results are declared, a merit list will be announced based on candidates' scores. Qualified candidates will be required register for counseling, where they fill in their course and college preferences. Based on rank, category, and seat availability, candidates will be allotted seats.
JKCET 2025 eligibility criteria
The JKCET 2025 eligibility criteria is mentioned below.
- Candidates are required to be at least 17 years old.
- Candidates are required to have a domicile certificate of UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Otherwise, ST certificate issued by a competent Authority of UT of Ladakh can also be treated as the Domicile certificate of UT of Ladakh
- There is no upper age limit in JKCET 2025.
- Candidates are required to have qualified Class 12 exam from a recognized statutory Board or University.
- Candidates who are appearing in the year 2025 are also eligible. English. Candidates are required to have studies and qualified in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

JKCET 2025 exam pattern
The JKCET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of JKCET 2025 exam duration is 3 hours. The medium of the JKCET 2025 exam will be English. The JKCET 2025 exam will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions. The JKCET 2025 exam will be divided into 3 sections- physics, chemistry and mathematics. As per the JKCET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and the 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
