JMI Placements: MBA students placed with Rs 9 lakh average salary, Rs 25 lakh highest

NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University’s placement process at the University Placement Cell (UPC) witnessed the highest overall placement performance with more than 25 companies offering job opportunities to JMI MBA students with an average salary package of around Rs 9 lakh. The highest salary package received by the JMI MBA student is Rs 25 lakhs per annum, said a statement from Jamia Millia Islamia.
Many reputed companies such as KPMG, Bain Capability Network, Accenture, ICICI bank, Vedanta, Newgen, Schneider Electric, Xiaomi, Lime road, CRM Next, Tech Mahindra, Escorts, India Mart, Cians Analytics, JK Tyres, Scaler Academy, Digital Jalebi, Byjus among others participated in the placement drive, claimed the university.

According to Rahela Farooqi, director of the University Placement Cell of JMI, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the growth of various sectors such as the IT sector and ed-tech sector which is evident in the increased placement opportunities. She expressed gratitude to all recruiting companies for selecting the JMI MBA students.

Jamia Millia Islamia has recently opened admissions for distance mode courses through the university’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the academic session 2021-22 from January. The last date for submitting the online application for the JMI distance mode courses is March 25, 2022, and the deadline to pay the admission is April 10.
