NEW DELHI, JUNE 16 - Jamia Milia Islamia successfully conducted MA in Convergent Journalism entrance exam. The test was conducted in offline mode from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The types of questions asked in the exam were subjective, objective and descriptive theory. The total marks allotted to the exam was 200. Candidates have to score 40 % to pass the exam .

Summary of JMI MA in Convergent Journalism Entrance Test
The entrance exam was conducted in offline mode and the duration of the exam was three hours. The total marks allotted to the exam was 200 and the paper was divided into two parts - Part A and B.

The questions in part A were based on general knowledge, Fine Arts, Social and Cultural issues, Media Industry, National and International History, Reasoning, Language and Literature. Part B comprises sections on analytical writing, basic news writing, English quotation development and a section on English Grammar.

The national level entrance exam is conducted to offer qualified students admission in journalism course at a postgraduate level. The shortlisted candidates will have to participate in selection process , which includes interview, group discussion and portfolio.
