NEW DELHI: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad has announced relaxation of promotion rules for BTech, BPharm courses for the academic year 2021-22. The university had announced no credit-based detention for 2019-20 batch due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“In the current scenario of the consequential effect of pandemic, the University has decided to relax credits for promotion to the next year of BTech and BPharm courses, ie. students have to secure a minimum of 25% of total credits and this reduction is applicable for the current academic year 2021-22 only (ie. for promotion to the academic year 2022-23).

The eligibility for promotion for students who are pursuing PharmD and PharmD (PB) courses is that they should have appeared and passed all subjects with a maximum of two backlogs subjects.
