JNU invites applications for admission to PhD programmes; apply at jnu.ac.in, deadline December 2
JNU Admissions 2025: Candidates can apply for PhD programmes through NET, JRF, and GATE scores.

NEW DELHI : The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has commenced the online application to its PhD programmes for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible candidates can apply for admission through its official website, jnu.ac.in. The deadline to register for PhD admission is December 2.
According to the admission criteria admissions at JNU can be done through NET (UGC-CSIR), JRF, or GATE scores. However, candidates must apply separately for admissions to NET, JRF, and GATE scores.
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria, and number of seats available for the programme they are applying for and, also check the JNU website regularly for further updates.
“Candidates are advised to go through the e-Prospectus carefully for Ph.D. programme (2024-25) available on the University website (www.jnu.ac.in) to satisfy themselves in terms of eligibility criteria, availability of seats, and other details before submitting online applications,” the official notification read.
