JNU opens MBA admissions for 2026-28 batch through CAT score; apply by March 31

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started registration for admission to its MBA programme for the academic year 2026-28. Eligible students can apply for the management course through the official website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.

The JNU’s MBA registration window will be open until March 31, 2026. Applicants first have to register their details, and then log-in through the generated application number and password to submit the admission form, according to an official notice.

General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will have to pay Rs 2,000 as online registration fee.

JNU MBA Admissions 2026: Registration fee, selection process

Those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and disabled candidates can pay Rs 1,000 as JNU MBA application charges. The selection process for admission to MBA programmes include Group Discussion (GD), and personal interview.

Students will be selected on the basis of CAT score, holding 70% weightage. While GD and personal interview will carry 10% and 20% weightage respectively.

The documents required to submit along with the MBA application form includes a scanned copy of photo and signature, Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, and CAT 2025 or GMAT score (for foreign nationals) certificate.

Explaining the MBA curriculum at JNU, the university said: “JNU’s MBA is anchored in experiential learning. Practical projects, real-world case studies, workshops, simulations, and industry exposure ensure that students here do not merely study management they practice it.”
