NEW DELHI, JANUARY 3, 2019 : Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the admit card for admission to class 9 through lateral entry. Students can download the admit card by using their registration number generated at the time of online registering or filling the application form. The entrance exam for class 9 is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 2019. The exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes starting from 10 am till 12:30 pm.

Here are the steps to download the NVS admit card :

Go to the official website - https://www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in/nvs/homepage

Click on the Candidate Log in to print filled in Application Form/Admit Card after Registration

Enter the Registration number or Mobile number.

Click on the login tab.

Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download and save a copy of the same to use it on the exam day.
The exam centre would most probably be a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in the selected district. The exam for JNV will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Hindi, English, Mathematics and Science. The medium for language exam can be either English or Hindi.
The result for this lateral entry exam will also be declared in online mode. The result will mention the name of shortlisted candidates who then have to report the respective JNV for further document verification and other details. The selected candidates after the entrance test are also informed through speed post.
NVS also conducts admission entrance exam for class 6 which is scheduled to be conducted on April 6, 2019.
