CSIR UGC NET cut-off is available for JRF and lectureship, assistant professor in all the subjects for the December 2022 and June 2023 sessions combined.

NEW DELHI: The Joint CSIR University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2022 and June 2023 ranks and cut-off have been announced. NTA had declared the CSIR UGC NET result on July 25, 2023. The CSIR UGC NET cut-off marks are announced subject-wise for the CSIR UGC NET 2023. The CSIR UGC NET cut-off has been made available for junior research fellowship (JRF) and lectureship, assistant professor in all the subjects – chemical science, earth sciences, life sciences, mathematical sciences and physical sciences.
In the life science subject, the raw marks obtained have been normalized into NTA score and percentile and results have been declared based on percentile cut-off as indicated.

While announcing the CSIR UGC NET 2023 cut-off, the administering body said that there is no separate cut-off for part A, B and C. The cumulative marks of all parts are taken into consideration for drawing of merit list.
The date of declaration of Joint CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor (NET) Dec-22/June-2023 Exam is July 29.
Candidates with bachelor’s degree are eligible for fellowship only and ranks are allotted first to all successful candidates qualifying for junior research fellowship as per the merit list of JRF and then the candidates are distributed between CSIR and UGC in the ratio of number of fellowships shared between these two for each subject except Bachelor’s degree holder’s who are allocated to CSIR.
There is a minimum benchmark of 33% for general, EWS and OBC category and 25% in respect of SC, ST and PwD categories for both fellowship and lectureship, assistant professor.
In case of any discrepancy, the criteria mentioned in the Information Bulletin will be treated as final, it added.
