Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 correction window closes today; edit application at csirnet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the correction window for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 application form today. Candidates who registered for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (Joint CSIR-UGC NET) June session, can make corrections in their application form by today through the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 session correction window can be accessed using the candidate's application number and password.

The NTA will conduct the computer-based Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 on July 17 and 18 at various exam centres across India.

The competitive exam will be held to assess the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Lectureship, assistant professorship at universities and colleges across the country.

Candidates can check the table given below which contains list of editable and non-editable particulars in the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2026 June application form.

Correction/Action in Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Application Form

Fields/Details

Candidates shall NOT be allowed to change

Mobile Number, E-mail Address, Permanent Address, Present Address, Candidate Name

Candidates shall be allowed to change any one of the following fields

Father's Name or Mother's Name

Candidates shall be allowed to change the following details

Photograph Image Upload, Signature Image Upload, Graduation Details, Post-Graduation Details, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Sub-category/PwBD (if not verified by UDID Portal), Identity Proof (only for candidates registered with an identity other than Aadhaar)

Candidates shall be allowed to change examination city preferences

All four Examination City selections

Candidates shall be allowed to change examination cities based on address details

Examination cities can be modified according to Permanent and Present Address provided during the registration period

Subject correction option available

Candidates can edit/change the Subject during the correction period

“Please note that final correction shall be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if applicable. In case of change in Category, or PwBD, if there is an impact on the fee amount then the Candidate will be charged an additional fee as applicable. Excess payment if any made will not be refunded,” NTA said in an official statement.

The NTA also clarified that no correction will be allowed in particulars after the deadline and the additional fee shall be paid by the candidate either through Credit, debit card, net banking or UPI.

“Since, it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given,” it added.
