JoSAA 2019 Round 2 Seat Allocation Result Announced; Check Details Here

NEW DELHI, JULY 3: Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the second round seat allocation result of JoSAA 2019. Candidates can now check their allotment status by using the required credentials. Details about the candidates’ allotment are available along with the provisional allotment letter is now available. Previously, the first round allotment was declared on June 27, 2019.

Quick Steps to Check JoSAA 2019 Seat Allocation (Round 2)

• Go to the official website of JoSAA 2019 (josaa.nic.in)
• Click on the seat allotment link
• Candidates will have to enter their JEE Main application number and password
• Click on “Login”
• The allotment status will be reflected on the screen.
• The selected candidates will have to download their provisional allotment letter

The candidates who have been allotted have to pay the seat acceptance fee and verify their documents between July 4 to 5, 2019. The payment of the fee has to be done through SBI net banking or e-challan. To verify the documents, the candidates will have to report at the nearest reporting centres. Those candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats will have to choose the “Freeze” option whereas those candidates who wish to participate in the next round of allotment will have to select “Float” or “Slide”.

JoSAA 2019 consists of seven allocation rounds for admissions into the participating IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Allotment of seats is being done as per the merit and choices of the candidates along with the availability of seats.
