JoSAA 2022 counselling: Registration begins at josaa.nic.in; Documents required

NEW DELHI: Joint Seat Allocation Authority has started the JoSAA 2022 counselling registration at josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA counselling 2022 process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment and admission confirmation.

The authorities conduct JoSAA counselling to provide admission into NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs to eligible candidates. Candidates declared qualified in JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced results will be eligible to participate in JoSAA counselling 2022. Applicants willing to appear for the counselling process must check the documents required to complete the JoSAA counselling 2022. The last date to complete the JoSAA 2022 counselling registration is September 21.

Steps for JoSAA 2022 counselling registration

Candidates have to follow the below steps to complete JoSAA counselling registration process:

• Visit JoSAA official website - josaa.nic.in 2022

• Click on the JoSAA registration and choice filling link available on the homepage

• Login using the JEE Main/ JEE Advanced credentials

• Candidates will be redirected to the pre-submitted details page.

• Check the details and click on the “submit” button.

• Fill in the preferred choices of institutes and courses from available options on the screen.

• Complete the choice locking process before the last date.

JoSAA 2022 Counselling- Documents required

• Class 10 marksheet/ certificate/ Aadhar card (for Date of Birth)

• Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate

• Category certificate (If applicable)

• PwD certificate (If applicable)

• Crossed bank cheque copy/ Image of passbook with bank account details

• Medical certificate (in specified format available on JoSAA-2022 format)

• Passport (If applicable)

• JEE Main 2022 admit card
