NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the JoSAA 2024 seat allotment results for round 4 today. Students can check their allotment status on the official website, josaa.nic.in. To check the JoSAA seat allotment result, candidates are required to use their application number and password on the counselling portal.

The JoSAA round 5 seat allotment results for academic year 2024 will be declared on July 17. Candidates allotted seats should report online for admission by 5 pm on July 12, make necessary counselling fee payment, and upload the required documents.

What after JoSAA seat allocation 2024?
After the allotment of seats, candidates should choose one of the following options.

Freeze: If satisfied with the allotted seat and not wishing to participate in further rounds of JoSAA counselling 2024.

Float: If satisfied with the seat but wish to be considered for other institutes in future rounds.

Slide: If accepting the allotted seat but open for higher preferred course in the same institute.
The JoSAA 2024 round 4 seat allotment list has been announced for admissions to 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 33 other-government funded technical institutes (Other-GFTIs). Students allotted seats in this round can complete their admissions until July 15, 2024.
