JEE Advanced 2025: BTech chemical engineering closing cut-offs in IITs for open category
JoSAA Counselling 2025: The round 1 highest closing cut-off for CE was 2405 at IIT Bombay, and IIT Jammu at 22155, the lowest closing rank among all.

JoSAA Counselling 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA 2025 round 1 seat allotment for JEE qualifiers. For round 1, the chemical engineering (CE) programme highest closing cut-off in the open category was 2405 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
The lowest cut-off was 22155 at IIT Jammu in the open female-only category. JoSAA conducts the admission process for JEE Advanced qualifiers. The CE opening rank at IIT Bombay for admission is 601, and closed at rank 2405. While for IIT Jammu CE admissions, the opening rank is 22069 and closed at 22155.
Candidates can now access the JoSAA seat allotment round 1 result 2025 on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates who have been allotted seats in round 1 seat allotment have to complete the fee payment and document submission process before the last date, June 18. JoSAA counselling 2025 round 2 seat allotment results will be announced on June 21.
This year, IIT Bombay has continued to be the choice for candidates for BTech computer science engineering (CSE). In the open category, CSE closing rank at IIT Bombay opened at AIR 2 and closed at 66 in round 1.
