JoSAA round 2 seat allotment 2026 out at josaa.nic.in; Online reporting till July 3

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has declared the round 2 seat allotment result for JoSAA counselling 2026. Students who registered for the counselling process can check their allotment status through the official website, JoSAA, at josaa.nic.in. They will have to log in using their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main application number, password, and security pin to download the seat allotment result. JoSAA seat allotment Live updates

The counselling process is being conducted for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Earlier, the seat allotment for round 1 of JoSAA counselling was announced on June 13, 2026.

According to the official schedule, students allotted seats in round 2 will have to complete online reporting, including fee payment, document upload, and response to queries, by July 3, 2026, till 5 pm. Students are advised to complete all reporting formalities within the deadline to avoid cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to check JoSAA round 2 seat allotment 2026 result

Students can follow these steps to check if they have been allotted a seat in round 2.

• Visit the official website, josaa.nic.in

• Click on the ‘Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2026’ link

• Enter JEE Main application number and password

• Submit the details

• Download the allotment result and take a printout for future reference

JoSAA allows students to choose among freeze, float, and slide options after accepting the allotted seat. Students selecting the float option can participate in further rounds for better seat allocation opportunities.

The last date for fee payment for round 2 is July 3, while fee payment issue resolution will continue till July 4, 5 pm.
