Kanpur Institute of Technology commences application process for B.Tech 2020 admissions

Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) has started the B.Tech 2020 admission process. The application form is now available in online mode. Candidates will have to submit the application form to participate in the admission process. The eligibility criteria for admissions has also been released by the authorities. Candidates will be selected for admissions based on their performance in UPSEE/JEE Main. Currently, KIT offers eight B.Tech programmes for admissions.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to meet certain criteria before filling out the application form. If the eligibility criteria are not met, then the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the admission process. Therefore, before filling out the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria.

Should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

General category candidates should have scored 45% marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) examinations. While SC/ST category candidates should have scored 40%.

Candidates should also have a valid score in UPSEE.
Application Process
The application form is now available in online mode. Candidates will have to submit the application form to participate in the admission process for B.Tech courses offered by Kanpur Institute of Technology . While filling out the application form, the candidates should provide their personal, academic and contact details. The required application fee also has to be paid.

Admission/Selection Process
