NEW DELHI: Karnataka deputy CM and higher education minister CN Ashwath Narayan has announced that KCET 2020 will be conducted on July 30 and 31. The exam will be conducted across 54 test cities of Karnataka as mentioned in the information brochure. The exam was earlier scheduled for April 22 and 23 but had to be postponed due to coronavirus lockdown.

The exam conducting authority will issue admit cards to all the candidates who register for the exam before the last date of application. Students have to download their admit card from the official portal of KCET 2020 without which they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.The test will be conducted in two sessions each day, morning session between 09:30 to 12:30 and afternoon session from 02:30 to 05:30 pm.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test, commonly known as KCET is conducted for shortlisting candidates to offer admission in B.Tech course in all the participating colleges. Application form of KCET 2020 has been reopened on May 8 and will be available up to May 18. The portal is reopened to allow more candidates to register for the exam keeping in mind the hardship being faced due to lockdown.
