According to the official KEA notice, candidates who have been allotted seats in the Karnataka NEET PG round 2 and have joined the allotted college by paying the admission fee can participate in round 3 for seat upgradation.

“Those who newly registered with KEA, completed document verification, and submitted original documents as per the January 17, 2026, notification are also eligible to take part in the Karnataka NEET PG round 3 seat allotment,” the official KEA notice said.

However, the KEA has clarified that candidates who have joined postgraduate medical colleges, including deemed universities, through the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling after round 1 or round 2, as well as those who have been allotted seats in the AIQ mop-up round, are not eligible for the KEA NEET PG round 3.

“Candidates who cancelled their seats after round 1, or those who failed to pay the fee or cancelled after the provisional or final allocation in round 2, will also be barred from participating,” the official KEA notice added.
